Kathy Marin Collins grew up in the Pacific Northwest
and expresses her feelings for the outdoors in her
dramatic watercolors.  Kathy’s paintings showcase the
strong value contrasts between the dark evergreen-
covered mountains and the transparent jewel-like
reflections in Puget Sound waters using rich deep colors
in a wet-on-wet technique.

Kathy’s award-winning paintings have been juried into
shows nationwide, including the Montana,
Pennsylvania, Central Coast, and Northwest Watercolor
Societies’ annual exhibitions. Her work hangs in
corporate and private collections throughout the United
States and has been featured in Watercolor Magic
Magazine, The Artist’s Magazine, and will appear in the
upcoming Splash 10, a North Light publication.

She is a Signature Member of the Northwest Watercolor
Society and serves on the Board of Women Painters of
Washington.
